Goa is really a foodie’s paradise. Right from its fresh seafood and the Portuguese influenced Goan dishes to a variety of international cuisines, the state offers the world on a plate. To add to that, Goa is fully packed with eateries ranging from fine-dining restaurants to cafes and beachside shacks.
I think back when we were on vacations in Goa and had visited some places in the far north of the state. It was about 10 am in the morning when we were in the middle of our tour somewhere near Baga beach.
It was at that time when we felt hungry and needed some fine breakfast for the better. Hence, We looked for some good restaurants and eventually discovered a remarkable one which happened to be in the same area.
Infantaria Cafe – A Kickass Breakfast Place in Goa
Standing delightfully in the cluster of eateries was this Infantaria Cafe, a fine deli which is located on the Calangute – Baga junction. You can call it a bakery, bistro or all day-diner – Infantaria is an institution. People drop in here for continental breakfast of fluffy masala omelette or mince patties and freshly brewed coffee. They also go for mouth-watering Goan seafood or pick Chinese cuisine for hot deals in the evening.
People also make it sure to explore its bakery counter, laden with bebinca, cakes and pastries of all sorts, and their typical Portuguese savouries which are just mind blowing. Gladly, the menu of Infantaria Cafe has it all.
Overall, my experience at Infantaria Cafe was an amazing one. I strongly recommend everyone to visit this beautiful cafe in Calangute on their visit to Goa. Reaching here is not difficult, you can easily find this place on Google Maps.
