THE CHOCOLATE ROOM
Goa has a lot to offer. Be it those beautiful Churches, White sand beaches or famous beach shacks. Everything Goan is just amazing. And if there’s something that adds the cherry on top to a perfect Goan experience, it has to be the best cafes in Goa.
One must agree that there’s something alluring about these Cafeterias. Like their interiors which flaunt of warm smell of breads, the background hiss from the coffeemaker or the mixed aroma of java and pastries, all of that literally make the aura more enticing. And certainly, its not surprising that these places eventually become the frequent hangout spots for the tourists.
Incidentally, we happen to be at such a cafe during late night hours. We were returning from our day long trip when we stopped at a cafe near calangute beach. Although there were several of them in every lane yet we chose this one which looked distinctively recognisable from the rest.
Amidst the most happening eateries in the area was located THE CHOCOLATE ROOM which was easily identifiable by its giant cuddle cup and beakers. I must say it really looked like a chocolate paradise, it’s ambience ,it’s fragrance or the menu, everything looked chocolaty. In fact the guys serving there also looked like chocolate bars due to their chocolate coloured uniforms.
This deli offered both table d’hote and a la carte menus that provided numerous food options to be chosen from. Their offerings also comprised of string of sandwiches, salads, crepes and tonnes of desserts. One of their bestselling combos comprised of falafel and chicken wings with akuri on toast as an appetizing breakfast option. I had crispy creamy prawns and the death by chocolate which were just so mouth watering and must haves for every foodie to treat their taste buds.

The cafe also boasts of its relaxing layout with loungy interiors and live jazz music. People frequently visit here for casual business meetings or just for hang-out. The appealing facet of the place is that it remains open till late night and one should not be surprised to spot any celebrity inside.
Overall, my experience at The Chocolate room cafe was an amazing one and I strongly recommend this beautiful cafe to anyone visiting Goa. Reaching here is not difficult, you can easily find this place near the beachside.
